Sanding & Refinishing

Ipswich Pine Stain on Red Oak Floor

Ipswich Pine Stain on Red Oak Floor

Restoring the life back into your old hardwood floors is our specialty.  Our techniques and expertise will ensure you have a floor you can be proud of for years to come.

At the end of the day, the most common thing we hear is “If I knew the floors would have turned out so well I would have done them years ago”. All you have to do is:

  1. Choose the stain color (gunstock or antique brown, for example)
  2. Choose the sheen & finish (satin, semigloss, or higloss, for example)
  3. Remove all furniture and contents including baseboard and trim (We can also do this at a nominal fee)

In addition to a complete resanding and refinishing job, we also offer an alternative that is not only faster – but also less expensive. The screen and recoat (or buff and recoat) is an option available for hardwood floors that are in relatively good shape.  If your floor has a few nicks, scuffs, and minor scratches and all you want is a fresh topcoat, this option may be all that you need to revitalize your old floors. We take the needs of our customers into consideration by communicating at every stage of the job, so everyone is on the same page and knows what to expect. This is vital to insure this transformation process is as seamless and stress-free as possible!
